Schedule your appointment for your Spray tan 24 to 48 hours prior to your special occasion or event. Airbrush tans usually take 16 to 24 hours to activate on the skin. Please inform me of any skin problems, trouble spots, or any issues you may have had with other sunless tanning products.

Pre-Care

Before you come in for your spray tan, you should… Be aware that if you are PMSing, or on your first couple of days or on the first few days of your menstrual cycle, the spray tan can either develop very lightly or not at all. Only 1 out of 50 clients experiences so schedule accordingly whenever possible. Complete all other beauty services before the day of your appointment (manicures waxing shaving lash appointments etc.)

Wax 48 hours before your appointment as Wax can stay on the skin and make it difficult for the tanning solution to hold. Shower and exfoliate at least four hours before your appointment if possible. Come to your appointment with clean skin no lotions, oils or any other beauty products. Make sure you wear loose fitting clothing that you can change into directly after your spray tan, I do not recommend wearing anything tight that may ruin your tan.

Post Care

Stay away from all moisturizer until your first shower, do not scrub or use exfoliants as it will rub your tan off, never use any oils such as baby oil or coconut oil it will eat away your tan. Also if you wear perfume do not spray directly on your skin or that will as well eat away your tan. Exercising within the first 36 hours is not recommended either. To preserve your tan avoid long hot showers, swimming, baths, steam rooms, hot tubs and saunas. Moisturize in the a.m. and p.m. with a oil free moisturizer continuing to moisturize will extend your tan. After 6-7 days depending on your speed of fading, GENTLY exfoliate your skin head to toe each day so that your tan fades evenly.
